MAKE A BOOK
Do you love reading? March is “the month of the book” in Czech Republic. Let’s celebrate it. What about creating your own book with your story, your pictures etc.? It could be comics, concertina book or other? We will talk about favorite children books and stories popular in different countries. You will learn new Czech words connected with written stories, fairytales, books, pictures, writers.

EASTER BUNNY
The Spring is here, finally! Come and welcome spring the Czech way. Help us to learn the difference between Easter celebrations in different countries. Use your creativity while decorating eggs or baking the traditional Easter lamb cake. We will learn Czech Easter carols and habits. You will find out what Czech words related to Easter, nature, animals, flowers etc.

HAPPY MOTHER’S AND FATHER’S DAY
Did you know mothers and fathers had their special days? Let’s get ready! We will make colorful creative space where we will enjoy the cooking, beading, gluing, drawing, coloring, painting and paperwork. We will produce greeting cards, gifts, and flowers for our moms and dads from color paper, crepe paper, and skewers. Let’s try drawing using different techniques, baking and decorating “cupcakes”. We will learn some Czech vocabulary associated with mothers, women, father, men, home, family, housework.

TRAVEL THE WORLD
Do you like to travel? Where to? What is your favorite place on the planet? Let’s create our own 3D models of an imaginary city, village, countryside, our own dream world… Let’s play with paper, watercolors, and other tools and materials to create a fantastic place! We will learn a few Czech words related to nature, travelling and geography.

Creative Saturdays take place always in the picturesque natural reserve of Prokopske udoli from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. The address is: K Dalejim 2, Praha 5
The rich program is delivered by Klara Dodds, artist and owner of the ceramic studio Muddum Art Space at her own home.
We keep the group small (max. 8 participants), between 6–12 years old.
